Simon spent 20 years in alcohol marketing, now he wants to see industry better regulated

As a wine marketer for two decades, Simon knows intimately the tactics used by alcohol companies to sell their products.

In the second part of his Voices of Change story, Simon reflects on the “disturbing” ways the alcohol industry promote their products and why it’s time for better regulation. 

“There’s a big disconnect here in terms of the freedom that the industry is allowed to promote those messages … compared to the way tobacco has been monitored and is now regulated,” he said.
