Support FARE in City2Surf 2024!

In August 2024, FARE participated in Sydney's iconic City2Surf as a charity partner for the very first time!

FARE’s 25-strong team ran, jogged and walked from Hyde Park to Bondi Beach in Sydney, after raising more than $22,000 for Voices of Change.

Our fundraising is going directly to supporting the program, which amplifies the voices of people who have been impacted by alcohol to create change.

Thank you to our incredible FARE Superstars, fundraisers, donors and supporters – for the months of hard work raising money and the uplifting, unrivalled energy all our City2Surf participants embodied on race day.

We could not have achieved this without your support!

Join our City2Surf team as a ‘Charity Superstar’!

City2Surf is officially sold out, but don’t worry, you can grab a spot with FARE as a Charity Superstar! You’ll be fundraising for our Voices of Change project and you’ll enjoy perks like free entry, a special medal, and some cool exclusive merchandise.

Why support FARE in the City2Surf

When you walk, jog or run or donate to FARE at City2Surf, you’re not just pounding the pavement on Sydney’s streets – you’re going the extra mile for alcohol harm prevention across Australia.

We are fundraising for our storytelling project ‘Voices of Change’ which supports Australians to share their experience of alcohol harm to raise awareness and create change.

Prepare for City2Surf with SportsCare!

The 14km journey from Hyde Park to Bondi Beach is no easy feat. But there’s a few things we can do to make it a little easier!

Hear from SportsCare’s Exercise Physiologist Dave Halpin on training tips and everything you’ll need to know for the big day.

Hear from our Voices of Change

Over the past two years, we’ve shared dozens of stories from a diverse range of people across the country about the role of alcohol in their lives.

They have spoken up to let other people know that they are not alone, to foster new conversations and to break down the invisible barriers of stigma and shame, so people can reach out and seek support.
