Are you fed up with seeing sporting heroes hidden behind booze logos?
FARE has stepped up to the pitch, calling for an end to alcohol sponsorship in sport.
Our Booze Free Sport campaign kicked off in 2016, when rugby league great and FARE Director Steve Ella, slammed an irresponsible State of Origin promotion offering free beer.
Sadly, it doesn’t stop there.
Millions of Australian children and families watch sports like the AFL, NRL, and cricket, which are saturated with alcohol promotion.
Alcohol advertising is associated with young people drinking more and from an earlier age. And we know that drinking from a young age can adversely affect the developing brain.
It is vital to ensure that Australia’s favourite games are not promoting alcohol to our young people at such a vulnerable age.
Change is possible!
You can support FARE by giving today.
Together we can end this unhealthy relationship.
With your help, we can continue to encourage the AFL, Cricket Australia, and the NRL to give up alcohol sponsorship and to inspire and ignite change across all sporting codes.
Every gift makes a difference, and 100 per cent of all donations received will be used to help protect our kids from harmful alcohol promotion and sponsorship. Plus, donations over $2 are tax deductible.
